GREAT PLACES TO VISIT
Hartland – A lovely village with local shop, pubs and rural walks to go exploring.
Boscastle – Village with a natural harbour and stunning coastal walks, quaint stone built cottages, shops and tea-
Bude – town with beautiful beaches, Bude canal, shops, pubs, leisure facilities and something for everyone.
Tintagel – the village and castle ruins are associated with the legend of King Arthur. There are many attractions to see in the village.
Padstow – A beautiful fishing port on the Camel estuary, known for its restaurants, harbour, shops, walks and beautiful views across to Rock.
Clovelly – A step back in time for the quaint cobbled village, set into the side of a steep hillside, where they still use donkeys or sledges to transport goods up and down the village.
Westward Ho! – A village known for its beach, holiday parks, plenty of places to eat, a good family destination not far from Bideford.
Appledore – A very quaint fishing village, on the river Torridge estuary. Fishing trips, crabbing competitions, lovely pubs and cafes, known for the Appledore shipyard and Lifeboat station.
Bideford – A busy market town, and port, plenty to explore, Pannier market, Victoria Park, shops, cafes restaurants and so much more.
Barnstaple – One of the larger towns in North Devon, big high street name shopping, but also lovely individual shops and a pannier market. Plenty to do and see, great selection of eateries.
Torrington – A small market town set in rolling green countryside on the banks of the river Torridge.
Exmoor & Dartmoor – National parks not to be missed, so much to see.
